ABC Hotel is compelled to address recent reports circulating in Chinese online newspapers and forums, alleging collusion between ABC Hotel and Filipino individuals in the kidnapping of a Chinese citizen on October 21, 2023. The management of ABC Hotel seeks to clarify and set the record straight regarding this incident.

On the aforementioned date at 3:37 am, three cars arrived at the hotel parking area. One of the cars contained a Chinese citizen, while the other two vehicles carried two Filipino individuals each. It is crucial to note that none of these five individuals were registered guests at ABC Hotel.

Upon arrival, the Filipinos approached our security department, claiming to have been involved in a hit-and-run incident with the Chinese citizen. They pursued the Chinese citizen to ABC Hotel with the intention of reaching an agreement to compensate for the damages sustained by their vehicle, which included minor dents and scratches. When the Chinese citizen declined their proposed arrangement, a verbal dispute ensued between the parties.

ABC Hotel took a neutral stance in the matter and urged both groups to resolve the issue independently. The situation was ultimately resolved at 4:43 am, with the intervention of another Chinese citizen who helped mediate an agreement between the parties involved.
